I was invited to contribute to an interesting and exciting project by DeeAnna Merz Nagel and Madison Leigh Akridge – Case Studies in Spiritual Coaching.
Having been asked to teach on the topic of spiritual coaching, DeeAnna and Madison found there was almost no professional literature on the topic, and so invited coaches and practitioners from a wide range of experience and expertise to create something! My Chapter reflects on issues related to functioning during the Covid pandemic, with a focus on internal and external influences effecting our overall sense of well-being.

Grove Books who say they are “not the last word… but often the first” – have a series on youth work, and I’m delighted to say that I now have two booklets out.
While Grove books origin is within the faith (specifically Christian) community, the books are for anyone who works in the youth work sector.
In Using Coaching in Youth Work, I argue the case that coaching techniques are an essential skill in the youth workers’ toolbox – both as a way of working with young people and as an effective way of self-development. I suggest ways of implementing coaching into your youth work, and give an overview of some simple but effective techniques that are likely to have a positive impact on your practice.
In Keys to Well-being in Youth Ministry, Jenni Osborn, Sally Nash and myself reflect on the risk of burnout in the field, and offer advice to help workers take simple, practical steps to grow and stay healthy while serving others.

A little (lot?) more niche, but a couple of friends and I have written a collection of haiku for use alongside the Anglican Lectionary…
The Gospel in 17 Syllables is available in 3 individual years or as a collected edition(!)
